Personality: As a teenager, Naito was boisterous, trouble-making and prone to (as his father would say) 'sowing his wild oats'. Now an adult, the tragedy of losing a childhood friend has mellowed him considerably. Riddled with the guilt of being unable to protect his friend when she needed it most, he focuses much of his free time on bettering himself both physically and mentally; he will not, under any circumstances, be helpless to defend a loved one again. Despite this self-imposed burden, he retains an air of playfulness from his youth. He does not like to speak too seriously, and often avoids weighty topics, preferring to redirect the conversation to something appropriately light-hearted if he can. He loves his younger siblings deeply, and is protective of (also crazy about) his mate; as a rule of thumb, he distrusts anyone new in their vicinity.
History: The first-born child of Janii and Ace, Naito enjoyed a childhood in Hiltaii, getting into all manner of mischief with his cousins and enjoying peaceful nights nestled between his loving parents. He was blessed with a peaceful, lazy life until Ani was taken in what would become the beginning of a long and bloody war. Left feeling powerless and guilty for his friend's capture, Naito struggled with his shortcomings; perhaps, he reasoned, Ani would be here if I were stronger, if I were braver. Since that awful day, he has worked and tested his limits, becoming the person he wishes to be, one who can stand between a friend and an enemy with fire.
Misc Information:
- Naito is a perhaps awkward mix of his mother and father's conformation; he has Janii's slenderness and long legs, his father's deeper chest and thicker neck, and a back that is a touch too short.
- The majority of his mane falls to the left side of his neck, but the bottom strands fall to the right. His forelock tends to drift to the side.
- Markings are, in general, symmetrical.
