_{Group NPCs are owned by the group Starborn Alignment, and are available for any member of Starborn Alignment to use in their player character's backstories, memes, checkpoints, roleplays etc! They are also utilized to lead chapter plots or mini-event prompts when applicable. Please try to keep the NPC in character when using them!

To break the ice and get everyone comfortable with shared characters, once a month users can receive 50% extra AP for any image or literature piece that includes a group NPC. (Ex: a piece worth 10 AP would collect 15 AP) Collaborations and roleplays count!

Donovan is a seasoned Architect, one of Valore's finest. Several buildings essential to Valorian culture were designed by them. The revived Crucible is their newest work, while the Pearl remains Donovan's personal masterpiece. Though their style is highly versatile, Don's work never lacks traditional Aodhian elegance... or grandeur, should the piece call for it, and it usually does. Donovan is known to be especially nitpicky during the building process, and due to their reputation for excellence, most workers are willing to suffer Donovan's endless tweaks. Don has been known to take matters into their own hooves: once, they utilized their heat vision to adjust the Pearl's entry doors. It snuffed the fire* from the laborers, but no one denies the beauty of the archway. 'Heat vision makes the most precise, clean cut' Donovan says.

At 25, Donovan became a professor for the very university that taught them. They enjoy teaching nearly as much as they enjoy designing, which is to say they enjoy teaching very, very much. So much, in fact, that Donovan became the head of the Architecture department ten years later. Studious students adore Donovan for their knowledge, experience and wit. Students who don't pay attention (or fall asleep in class,) can count on being zapped with a laser. A harmless one, but it sure stings.

Those who count Donovan as a friend say that the professor is quick-witted and vivacious. Donovan is quick to tease, but never does it unkindly, and they dislike being serious outside of work. Donovan makes queer observations about their surroundings that are usually related to art or the possibility of it. When commissioned to design a structure, Donovan exists on a diet of Talorian coffee and doesn't sleep until the job is done.

DONOVAN WILL:
- Teach your architect character at Valore University, past or present.
- Provide advice and guidance to their students.
- Ease their students through panic attacks and existential crises brought on by finals
- Zap the ever loving shit out of a student's flank if they fall asleep or talk in class
- Favor a studious character and provide after-class tutoring
- Design your Aodhian's shop, home, etc
- Be Buddies with their students (to an extent) and Good Buddies with graduated students and fellow architects.
- Be known to your labor slave character as an amicable tyrant who nitpicks every step of the building process and will expect them to know the difference between ultramarine and navy blue.
- Lecture your character on the finer points of value scales, composition and other artsy fartsy hippy dippy bullshit
- Probably know your courtesan character Super Well
- Use their Heat Vision as a party trick on request - alcohol required
- Anything else plausible, just ask below if you're unsure!

DONOVAN WILL NOT:
- Be a dick to your character without reason
  - fyi insulting the validity of fine art is a reason
  - So is being mean to their slave
  - Don't even look at Ned funny
- Sell their slave
- Purchase your slave character
- Adopt your character

So I've been loving all the NPC's, but jiminy crickets Don just takes the cake. WHAT A HANDSOME HUNK OF CHUNK
